Agile in rapid growth

Agaric is diving directly into a Drupal solution (Casetracker plus Xamox' extension plus ?), and hope to grow up with it. We'd look at other free software (there's a world beyond Drupal?) but mostly would like to be in touch with efforts to project manage with Drupal, coordinating with others who are doing the same on developing code, and knowing from PingVision and other places just what's needed in the system!

It is just too unsophisticated for what we require. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

I have been working the business side of this equation. For me it comes down to interface. Interface is just as important ... perhaps more important than processing power and a lot of arcane features. How can I track clients and prospects at a glance, and how is progress on projects integrated into a single system ... not several systems where cutting and pasting takes place? How can I integrate my Monte Carlo @RISK software into the projects and into the prospects?

I continue to look for a system that marries solid project management with a robust CRM ... soup-to-nuts ... where mathematical modeling can be integrated.

The search continues.

PingV's formerly posted recipe for project management - http://pingv.com/blog/cyberswat/200706/p... - used casetracker and organic groups.

At Agaric we're experimenting with taxonomy, views, panels, and casetracker.

Integrating with CiviCRM would seem to make sense.

A multishop effort to push these solutions further and toward greater integration makes sense. And we don't want Summer of Code projects for extending casetracker and making project module work with multiple version control systems to be underused.

Could this coalesce around Victor Kane's planned Agile approach Drupal distribution? Or what are PingVision's promised further thoughts on project management?

And drawing in Drupal is improving...

A Drupal Monte Carlo module, anyone?

Any thoughts on this topic three months later? Seems like a great topic for a certain event making its way to Boston in a few months ;)

Also, I understand that Boulder has a number of Agile players in the area ... did you consider speaking with them?
